2011 2500HD 20" tire size options?

Hey all,

I'm looking to put BFG All Terrain TA's on my truck when the stock Goodyear Wranglers have worn out and was wondering what size will work on the truck without having to play with the torsion springs/alignment. The local tire shop said that a 275/65/20 or even a 285/65/20 should work with no modifications... Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks,

-John

The 285 might be pushing it. I think a 275/60 or the 275/65 would work with out turning the bars up and clear safely.

From all the research I did for our '13 with the 20's, the 275/65 will rub without leveling the front. I read and was told the largest was about a 33.5" tall tire, but most of the 275/65's are over 34" so they would rub.

If you do find something that will fit please keep us posted for the future.... Ad a result I ended up staying with the stock side, and went with the Cooper ATP's. Almost went with the Pro Comp AT Sport 275/60/20, but there weren't any reviews for winter use that I could find when shopping last fall. I need something that does well when we head to Northern Mi or Soo, Ontario area snowmobiling.

I put a leveling kit on my 2012 and I put on 275/65 r20 and they rub just a little bit. I am going to turn up the aftermarket keys a bit more. So I would do a leveling kit if you want anything bigger than the factory sized tires.
