Pace Edwards tonneau

Just finished the installation of a Pace Edwards, Jack Rabbit, roll top cover. It took about 2 ½ hours for me to install by myself. Still have the drain tubes and light wiring to finish up. Easy install, most of the time is spent measuring to make sure its square and will roll properly.

Looks good and works like a dream. It seems to be much less expensive than the other covers in it’s class. I picked it up for $600 from my nephew. JC Whitney set me a catalogue the other day with a 15% off coupon which would have run about the same.

For those of you that have had one for a while, how is it for water tightness and how does it operate in the winter?

I too have the Pace edwards roll top. The winter can be tricky. The drain tubes seem to plug easilywith debris. This causes a water build up which will freeze and not allow you to roll the top back to expose the bed. I simply blow out the drain tubes with aircompressor 3-4 times a year. I replaced the lock on mine already, bad tumblers. As for water tight I would not put a computer in the bed if it were raining. However does a fair job of keeping things dry. With a raised rib bed liner I don't have too much stuff get terribly wet.
