Heated Seats Not Working

I hit the switch on my 2009 Silverado heated seats and they did not come on. They worked the day before. They are not the factory heated seats but the GM kit the dealer installed. I would like to know how do they get power and which fuse do I need to check. Thank you in advance.

i would call them,,,,any instruction booklet come with that ?

 

i doubt looking up the factory schematics would help ...

 

anyone else think that ?

Do the LEDs come on in the switch, when you attempt to turn them on?

 

Do both seats not work or just one?

 

Do both the cushion AND back elements not come on or just one of them?

 

If everything does NOT work check, fuse 37 (gas) or fuse 39 (diesel) in the underhood fuse block, powers the module.

Both seats do not power up, no LEDs on the switch no heat from the cushion or the back. I will check the fuse, thank you.

I checked the fuse and it looked good. I may have to take it back to the dealer, I need an oil change anyway.

If the fuse is good you are going back to the dealer, yes. Probably under warranty anyway, I would assume?
