Hey guys.

Lately when I go to start My 2001 8.1L in the morning when cool it turns over but doesn't start. I noticed that when I turn the ignition on I didn't hear the fuel pump run. I popped the hood pulled the relay and put it back in and then it work. I this nothing more than a bad relay. I did replace the fuel pump about a year ago with an ac delco, as well as the filter. Tank looked clean.

Take the relay back out and shake it by your ear, if anything sounds loose then its a bad relay. At least, this is one way we test our relays on the jet besides shooting through the contacts lol.
