No start 01

My 01 silverado died on me suddenly going down the road. Only problem it showed beforehand was an occasional low idle. Everything seems to be getting power and there is fuel pressure. Checked fuses, replaced filter and fuel pressure regulator, engine light is on but I havent been able to pull the codes. It starts with a little gas in the top but only runs for seconds but runs smooth like its supposed to. Ive read elsewhere that I could have power to everything and still not get the initial pulse trigger required to start the engine which would be caused by the camshaft position sensor? What are the chances the injectors are clogged due to the truck being run with low fuel quite a bit? Thanks in advance for any help I can get here
