Stall when switching from D to P

Today, three times in a row, after driving for awhile my engine cuts off when I switch from drive to park. As soon as it sets to park it just dies, everything stays on just the engine shuts off with no warning lights.

 

I switched (just started up and switched)from park to drive and back to park three or four times and it didn't stall, only happens after driving for awhile.

 

Any suggestions?

I'm going to take it tomorrow to see if its showing anything.

 

Seems like if its not one thing it's another with GM vehicles...

I got a friend who buys Ford's that has the same problem, not the transmission, the one thing after another.

Yeah every GM car or truck I have owned has had problems. Yet not a thing wrong with my 2003 Ford Expy.

So in the last two weeks something has killed my battery. I had it load tested about 2-2 1/2 weeks ago and no problems. Today had to buy a new battery, but the problem is still there. It isn't showing any error codes. Today, however, it stalled when I went from Manual to Reverse. I thought it was Drive to Park but its when ever I drive in manual, which I do all the time when I drive through town. So it's not doing it from drive to park, it's manual to reverse. Maybe something wrong there....
