Not sure how many will remember me, but it's been a while since I've posted here. I guess I should also change my username as I've just traded my 99 Tahoe for a 2000 Silverado. It's a Z-71 Ext Cab, 5.3, Auto/Autotrac, White. I love it so far except the other day when it was VERY cold outside, it didn't want to start. It cranked over pretty good but wouldn't light. I put a battery charger on it for a while even though it cranked over fine and that seemed to do the trick. I think that with all of the electronics/computers on these things, if the computer isn't getting the correct voltage, they won't start. I also added a can of HEET that day, too.

Well, welcome back! I'm sure you'll like the rado - sounds like there might be some water somewhere in the fuel system - my first guess. This can happen pretty easily if they have set for some time, especially w/ a less than full tank of fuel.

Thanks for the "welcome back"! Tomorrow will be a test to see if it's the battery causing my truck to take a while to start. I put a spare one that I had in it. It's smaller, but has more Cranking amps. It is also less than a year old and hasn't been doing much since I bought it for my 85 Camaro Drag car project and that isn't ready to run yet.

P. S. For those I've met here before... I'm glad I'm not in Korea anymore!
