Lower BJ Issues??

I know there was a previous thread about bad bj on the uppers with the 2" RC level.. but i went to have my allignment done today and they told me that only my passenger lower bj was bad. Now correct me if im wrong.. but i wouldve thought the uppers would go bad before the lowers and why would my ball joint be bad if my truck has only been leveled for MAYBE 1k miles..? Does this sound right or are they blowing smoke up my a$$? The kicker is, they told me to go get the work done at the dealer because it should be covered under warranty then come back if the dealer won't do it and they'd give me a good deal. Thoughts?
