BCM swap need lil help

I have a 99 seirra 1500 n I'm wanting to swap bcms because I don't like the fact that the doors don't unlock when put in park n I aslo wana b able to turn auto head lights off jus wondering if I go to the junk yard n get a diff bcm if I can jus switch them and can I reprogram it myself also wana get the headlight switch outa the same truck as I get bcm any help or advice thanks

headlight switch is a plug and play ,BCM MAY work ,u can not program it ,,,,,it is aready done ,if it doesnt like your VIN ,then it wont work,im not sure what will happen if ya try it ,,,,

 

did ya have the locks programmed into the BCM (by the DIC)or are you guessing its the BCM ?

No from what I gather by everything I've read that on the 99s u can't program them its jus the way it is I jus want my damn doors to unlock when I put it park

I also heard that u can plug a diff bcm in and RELEARN it to ur truck sum how

These things you want could possibly be programmed at the dealer
