I placed my silvy 6.2 ltz order on 11-16-13.

on 11-21-13 the dealer emailed me an order number of, rknb74 but no event code. how do I get event codes?

the tracking info from chevs website says...

 

Your dealer has received an order number from Chevrolet. Once your dealer has an available production slot, your order will be scheduled for production. You can sign back in at any time to see your vehicle’s progress or click on the accessories area below to further make this vehicle your very own.

 

what do they mean when they say "available production slot"?

any help defining the production mystery is greatly appreciated. this is the first time ive ordered a vehicle so im not familiar with the schedule and im unclear if im even on it...lol

Sounds to me like it's not just a first ordered-first produced system--must be rationing production slots by dealer also. I guess to keep one dealer from being the only one in the area with a hot vehicle in-stock. Just a guess
