Support "DUCK DYNASTY!"

In The January issue of GQ Magazine, Phil Robertson-Patriarch of the Robertson family, aka - Duck Dynasty, addressed the topic of Sin and Homosexuality. By using his first ammendment rights to express his opinion, he has created a firestorm in the secular left. Now GLAAD - "Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation" is pressuring A&E to cancel the number one show on TV. If A&E gives in to the "NAZI-Homosexual" agenda in this Country, they will be commiting suicide! Duck Dynasty is the only show that I watch on A&E! I think that every "red blooded" American should show their support for the only show that is not afraid to express their Christian beliefs. If A&E does give in to the pressure from the "sodomites," I for one will boycott their network forever more!

Did you people read the article? It was vile and disgusting what he said. It went way beyond not agreeing with homosexuality. He's got a first amendment right, but he's also got to realize that comparing homosexuality to Beastiality is going to bring him some heat. After reading the article can't say I blame A&E...

Yes I did read the article! Phil was "quoting" the Bible. To God this is an "Abomination," once again quoting the Bible! As I always say to secular - progressives, I didn't write it, God did! If you have a problem with it, take it up with Him!

Ok guys, I am uneasy about this thread. Thia has the making for lots of warning points and "vacations" from a moderator view. I dont agree with terms used in this thread already. My political and social views are 2 different things. This crosses both of them as is my personal take on it. So I will leave this open IF it stays on topic, has no bashing of members or groups of people, and can stay clean. If one of those slips this thread WILL be locked quickly

Remember not everyone has the same religious views as you do. Speaking personally I find that false. God did not write the bible. I am not necessarily "Christian", but God did not write the bible. It was written by man.

Written by men "Inspired" by God! It is His word. So your not "Christian," I am ! As you said, no bashing.

Might as well lock this and leave it to the "friendly" site it's always been. To each their own and there are plenty of political/religious sites to talk about this on. I just foresee this getting out of hand quick. But I could be wrong!

People have said dirtier things in that magazine. He has a right to say what he feels, obviously the mag found it appropriate for their readers or they wouldn't print it. Sometimes things are graphic.

 

What is weird is that the network has their nose in it. Since when does a network need to condone legal activities done apart from them? It's not like they should be pushing them around, they make them some serious money.

I only believe what I can see and what my wife's telling me.

 

I would never expect other people to share my view of things.

 

That makes me always wonder why most of the religious people think they can try it with me.

And statements like "NAZI-Homosexual" and "sodomites" make it even harder to convince me.
