I have a 2005 2500HD Silverado and am considering a brush guard for my truck. ryqe3u6y.jpg I found this Dee Zee brush guard that I really like, I want to know what are some other recommended brush guards that you guys have had, or come across. Pics on the truck?

Skip the Deezee "guard". Might as well be styrofoam, 18 guage is pathetic. Ranch Hand uses 12 gauge on theirs I think.

Overall I like the Ranch Hand and Renegade guards. They're pretty tough, Ranch Hand, Renegade, and Thunderstruck all use about the same design. On a good one, the uprights will be more than a quarter inch thick!

People hit deer at 50 with this style of guard without bending the guard or anything. But if you want something that will really hold up, you need a full front replacement. The factory bumpers are plastic junk and the guard won't completely protect them. Not to mention having the guard and bumper as one piece makes it way stronger. Most people don't need it to be that tough.
