7 pin receptacle

Have a new 14 Silverado with the trailer towing package. The 7 pin receptacle has a center post that is suppose to supply 12 volts to run the interior lights on an enclosed trailer, and also control a back up lock out circuit on my boat trailer. The problem i have is there is no power to that location (center pin) in the receptacle. Three dealers i've called haven't found what needs to be done to get 12V to that pin. In years passed there was a wire that was not connected that needed to be connected to supply the 12V to the center pin, cant see any wire under the hood on the 14 Silverado.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

How about just looking for the fuse...see like the older years we hooked up the wire which you talked about along with a fuse !!
