My wife is starting to drive my truck too much...

I don't get it!!!  Three times in the last 2 weeks she has decided to take "the truck" to work...

She always used to say it was "too big"...  (maybe that was to help my ego!!!)   LOL

But she drives the nicest minivan GM builds... a '00 Olds Silloeutte (sp?) "premiere" with the LCD TV etc...

Maybe I should trade her van in on the crew-cab and then give her my truck as her daily driver!!!

Man, when my wife gets behind the wheel, she goes from being my little innocent wife, to an empowered animal!  She drives that thing like its a Ferrari F-550 Maranello on the track!  She loves the power and the secure "feeling" it gives.  One day, it will no longer be "my truck"...

My gf has the same problem as Ryanbab's.  "It's too big... you need to get some steps for it... what do you mean you want to lift it...are you going to put those stupid neon lights under it?"  And so on and so forth.  But she always asks me to drive when we go places.  Hmmmmm.

I was dreading coming home last week with the new tires and rims after I told the wife I'd leave it as is till I needed new tires.  I just knew I was going to get a state of the finances speech....

The next morning, she came out, looked it over and said nothing? I could see her wheels turning re my new wheels, but she just said, "It looks nice."  ??????

Finally 2 days later she fessed up and said, "Well, I was trying not to say much, but God that thing looks SEXY!!"  Then she paused, thought about her statement and said, "Who are you trying to look so sexy for?!"

Ah,women and trucks.  They may not mix, but I wouldn't trade either of mine for anything!

your not lying there

My gf started talking about bday presents already (mines in sept) well i hinted at stuff for my truck

SHE SAID NO i am not buying you anything for your truck.  Me and your truck are in competition for you

I said nah its a landslide (who do you think wins?) haha i hope your not thinking the truck.  I like my truck but i love her

My GF is the same way. Tires squealing on the way out of the parking lot all the time. She aid hings would change when she got her Ranger, but it hasn't a bit. She knows my truck looks better and rides better and has much more power, but won't admit anything is better than Ford. Only cuz her dad works at the Ford dealer in town. Another factor is that she is using my gas and not hers. She only drives 1 (yes one) mile to work, but she is always on "E", if you ask her. She loves it when she has to drive me home in my truck when I have a few to many drinks. Oh well, glad to hear others have the same problems I do. :-)

Its talk like this that is almost going to make me buy a stickshift, then I'll be the only one driving it when the time comes.

As for now, well, I'll just enjoy the time when I am the only one driving the thing.

FLOWERS?

Yeah, why not?

Why must it be us men who can't figure women out?  Do something that'll throw them a loop and cause them bewilderment for a while!

If anything, it'll make you appear to be a sensitive guy, willing to appear soft.  You can always tell her that you want something "beautiful" to remind you of her. XOXOXO

Besides, you can always ask for new tools later!

Ever wonder why I want my next truck to be a manual?  ;) Sure do wish I had this kind of problem though....

Well i finally got her to drive my truck not really because i wanted to but i needed her to.

Had my truck in for a lube yesterda (chassis)

Ill make this short i heard a squeak in the rear (tire?)

So i had her drive it around in a parking lot.  I told her go 5-10 yea right i think she mistook that for 50-60.  She hit the gas the exhaust (stock) rumbled and my truck was off.  Couldnt hear a **** thing.  I told her to not hit the gas this time just let it roll.

No squeak.  She got out and said it had to much power she could never drive it.

Is this a good thing?
