Where does this vaccum line go ? Near transmission possibly to engine?

Just changed my fluid and filter lAst night on my 99 silverado 1500 5.3 v8 vortec 4x4

I noticed the exhaust had burnt a rubber hose in half and was missing the other half. I believe the line is coming off the top of the transmission or somewhere in that area. I did however find a line on the backside of the middle/passenger side hose that was plugged up I'm wondering if that's it. Anyone got a hose diagram for transmission vaccum lines? Or could it possibly be a fuel tank breather line? Please help. I would get pics but it's raining bad.

Where does it go? I wonder if that line on backside of engine that's plugged is it. I have only had the truck a week I'm a newbie. I don't wana connect those two and cause damage if it's not what it is tho. What does the Trans line your talking about do and is it harmful having it unhooked

t case vent goes forward on top center of t case and transmission ,,,picks up the trans vent in a "T" and terminates at the upper bell housing bolt ,,,

or the trans vent hose starts on top of the transmission in the middle and drops over to one side and is maybe 10 " long

Do either one of those lines hook up to any thing downstream from the "t" or do they just hang down ? I have maybe a 1/4 or 3/8 rubber hose hanging down on the right (passenger) side of the transmission that appears to travel up toward the top center section of the transmission or maybe even into the engine compartment- can't really tell. On the downstream end of the hose was what looked like the remains off a plastic o ring or something like that but I cannot see anywhere that it would fit in the general area of where it might reach.
