Using Multiple Discounts for Purchase

I apologize if there is another subtopic to post this in, but I can surely use your help!

 

I am looking to purchase my first new vehicle, my first truck and my first GMC. I am eligible for the GMC Military Discount, Friends and Family discount, and USAA discount.

 

Does anyone know if I can use some or all of these with the current deals? I talked with someone at the dealership and they said I could combine the military and employee pricing (didn't know about the USAA discount then) and was wondering if anyone has done this yet?

Nearly impossible to find all of the discounts that you may qualify.

There is not one source that states all that I know of.

 

Then there are regional discounts and incentives.

 

Your average Joe or Jane salesperson does not know of all.

Even some sales managers don't know of all.

 

One would think it would be easy but it is not.

 

And these discounts/rebates do vary month to month. USAA, Credit Union, AARP, Customer Loyalty, and regular rebates. Some of the obscure ones cannot be combined with others.

 

If anyone knows of a good web site that states all please post.

I just got my truck, and it was my impression that the USAA is the new "military" discount. If not, GM owes me $500. At least that's what the military discount always was. The friends and family discount varies from dealership to dealership, too, I believe. And using that has no bearing on the military discount, but it does void all of the other GM discounts. I used to sell Chevrolets, and at the time, the friends and family discount was always $1,000 below "invoice" (which really just seems like a random number they pick), and with the right rebates, you could do much better than that discount. But that was about 10 years ago. Buying a car really has changed a lot.
