What makes you think that you have 3/4 ton running gear? Does it have 5, 6 or 8 hole rims? What engine is in it? Add your info to your name so we can see what you are talking about post up some pictures and we will try and help. I know for a fact that they did not build any "Heavy Half Ton" trucks after the 80's. But there was a time you could order strange things from the factory but not in the last 25 years or so. :jester:

You couldn't get a heavy half like Jim said. Starting in 06 you could get a max tow version with a larger engine and rear axle, but it was still 6 lug wheels. Back in the time of your truck you could get a light 2500 with 6 lug wheels, a 350, and semi floater rear end. It was still labeled a 2500 though. Open your glove compartment, and take a picture of the label with the 3 digit alpha - numeric codes and post it. It will help us tell you what you have. Also it the code M30 appears on it, it is a straight half ton. That is the light 4 speed auto transmission.

When you order parts you will order by year is it a 98? or 99? Then by model ID is it a 1500 series or a 2500 series. Then by any sub model. And then by any RPO code requirements.
