I have a 96' 2wd silverado reg. cag long bed.  I put a 2 inch drop shackle on the back beacause I didn't like the rear up so high.  anyways wanting to know what kind of shocks I should get that will give a good ride ect... The truck has 100,000 on it and it got the orginal shocks on it.

Thanks Dave

Our '91 had 150,000 miles on the factory shocks and that was way to long. Its got Monroe Sensa Trac's on there right now and I would recommend them highly. It really depends on how much you want to spend though. There are some really cheap shocks, like a plain Monroe or an expensive shock like the Edlebrocks or the Bilsteins. The Sensa Trac's are somewhere in the middle I believe, but an overall good shock.
