2009 GMC Denali Navigation Problems

Sorry..I am not sure if I am even posting in the right section and/or site, but I am stuck and need help. I fear that I am not the only one...

We bought the care new in 2009. About a year ago, the Navigation system would sometimes (really infrequently) reset to the Pennsylvania area (we live in Cali), which would change the clock. We could change it back, no problem, but then the problem started happening more and more frequently. I took it back to the dealership, who is running me through the hoops...you know, the usual keep your car forever and nothing happens or changes.

Spent $100 because they told me my Navigation needed to be updated/rebooted. Went to get back in my car after they had it for 9 hours, and it was the same. I went back into the dealership to tell them what was going on, and they told me it was too late in the day to have somebody fix it, as they had already gone home, and that I couldn't get my money back because they did in fact update my Navigation.

They said they think I might need a whole new navigation, which is anywhere from $1500-3000?? I was like what? My navigation works FINE! It just defaults/resets the area, which changes the time zone?

There has to be an easy/quick fix.

This is getting out of control. I have also been in contact with GMC Infotainment, and have opened a case with them. Any ideas? I have to take the car back to the dealership tomorrow.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just wondering if you ever received resolution To this issue. My wife's 2009 Tahoe navigation is doing the same exact thing.

Deal told her that navigation bad and needs to be replaced.

Thanks
