Slight chirping sound when going over bumps...

I know its not a Ford but both the Ranger and the Explorer that we had years back had a habit of chirping pretty good over speed bumps and rougher terrain. Found the bushings around the stabilizer bars would get dry and bind when it would flex. Your truck being a 4 wheel steer will have a unique type of stabilizer compared to pretty much everything out there. This may or may not make much sense but is worth looking at...

 

I took a mechanical pick and some WD-40 to the bushing on each side. Force the pick between the bushing and the bar and gave it a squirt.. Would last a couple of weeks. PITA! But knew what it was that was chirping.
