I have a 2004 2500 HD. It has the 6 disc changer and Bose speakers. The CD player won't load. Will a radio out of a 2007 plug in directly or do they make an adaptor for it. Would rather keep it stock but want the iPod capabilities.

You must have it programed and it must work with the amp. Check the RPO's and look on ebay for an unlocked version

Where do you get it programmed? What is RPO?

Regular production options its the sticker in your glove box. It must be an 03-07 classic if you want oem.

 

You cant get an oem radio for your truck with ipod controls. You'll need aftermarket
