Windshield questions

So when I got my truck back in February it had a few marks on the windshield. I told them of it and mentioned on this forum. They fixed most but not all and have come to the conclusion they need to replace the window.

 

Should I replace it or not? And any questions should I ask or things I want?

 

The marks are not that easy to see and are annoying but livable. So im torn replace it with a new window or leave it. Reason I say leave it because windows set after the factory might not be done perfect. What do you all say??

If you decide to replace the windshield, make sure you tell them you want OEM glass.

My 2014 was only a few months old when I got two significant cracks in the windshield. I was driving on the highway and it sounded like sand grains hit my windshield but both generated 2-3 ft cracks. Just curious if anyone else has had the same issues.

You can explore the possibility of having the windshield polished by a qualified outfit. Polishing can remove streaks, deep smudges, or shallow scratches in the glass. Of course, it cannot remove cracks or chips. Glass polishing is typically done with wet cerium oxide powder
