Maf and vacuum line problem

Alright guys I am new to this forum but have always been able to find an answer to problems on auto forums. So my 2000 sierra z71 has had some weird hesitation at time so I changed the maf and all was good. This morning it started acting up again. Could I have gotten a bad maf? And second on the list is the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator to the intake is cracked at both ends and I can't find one to replace it. Any help would be much appreciated

I don't know if they have them where you live but try looking at a pick N pull or a salvage yard for the part you need. I doubt that you got a bad maf cause I just had the maf code thrown on my truck and I just cleaned mine out it works just like new. You could try that out if you think it's the maf again it's an 8 dollar spray can.

I just cleaned it no change. Just looked at the box it's a reman and I have been working 6 days a week so haven't had a lot of time to check a scrap yard yet. But the maf has a year warranty!

Your original maf was fine , it's your guess that was wrong ,

No my original maf had corrosion on 2 of the diodes and all around the inside of the cast side of the housing

I'm gonna fix the vacuum leak thinkin that may be a problem I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with reman maf

how did your fix go? iv been battling a idle issue also!
