Routing cable into Cab

Hey folx.

Did a search in the Heavy Duty section out couldnt find a thing on cable routing from outside to inside Cab.

Can anybody tell me what a good access point would be from the roof to the inside of the cab. I read that there is a hole on the drivers side but i dont know where. tried one of those cb style antennae but that doesnt give me the range i want.

I just hooked mine up. If you look under the truck where your front floor board is, you should see a round rubber boot. A cable should be coming out of it.

 

I cut it and ran my red hot wire to the battery and my antenna wire through it too. Get some rubber sealer from Home Depot and seal it back up when finished.

 

Also, the plastic door seal panel should just pop out. Lift the carpet and snake it through.

THank you for the instructions. AM very glad there is a way into the Cab. at first i was entertaining the possibility of comming through the air vents  between the truck bed and the cab but it is hard to feed anything through there.
