New guy from all over the place

Hello GM truck aficionados. I might currently drive a BMW, but I am a GM truck guy through and through. I'm in the Air Force stationed in Italy for the time being. I will soon depart and move back to the good ol' USA. My goal is to get a new 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4x4 on order within a few months of return. I have thought about it over the last few years and getting a brand new custom ordered truck seems like the right choice for me. I have never seen a perfect model on any dealer's lot. They all have a few of my preferred features, but they always are missing something. I hope to keep this truck for years to come. My first truck was a 2008 Silverado LTZ 4z4 crew cab and I really miss it. If it wasn't for the US government allowing me to see the world, I would have certainly kept it. I will miss the handling and agility of my BMW but I will gladly give it up for a new truck. I look forward to being a productive and helpful member of these forums.

Welcome and thanks for your service... Even if it is Air Force.... (I kid) When I first joined the Navy, my goal was to be stationed in La Maddalena. They closed it down before I was able to get orders... Anywho, Enjoy the forums. It's a great place.
