Differential Bolt Torque

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new to the site and also to forum usage, so I hope that I'm following protocol with this post.. If not someone please get me lined out....

I drive a 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500HD LTZ, dually w/Duramax 6.6 & Allison trans.

I'm in the process of installing a set of Crossfire ( pressure equalization devices. The simplest solution at this time is to mount the device to the drive axle bolts (end cap of the differential).

I've attached (I hope..) an image post-133105-0-81539100-1407845661_thumb.jpg of the area to which I'm referring.

My question, what is the torque requirement for those bolts? I'll only have to remove one but want to get it torqued back correctly so I don't develop a leak..

Thank you,

LostArkie
