1980 Jimmy, body rough, what's it worth??

My son recently acquired a 1980 GMC Jimmy. He put it up for $2000 or trade and has a LOT of requests. That makes me wonder if he has a gem here or not. Just seems like with this many inquiries maybe he has it priced too low? I'm just not sure and would love some advice from the experts I've attached some pictures, it's mechanically sound and he drives it every day. Lots of rust though. Here's a few notes from his "for sale" posting:

 

350 small block/350 turbo trans automatic

4x4

117K miles

90% of the rust is located in the rockers and passenger side floor panel. Floor on passenger side has been patched.

 

Has some other things i the ad too, but before I add more detail thought I would see if I'm off my rocker of not. Thanks!

I think that is priced right.. Wouldn't be ashamed to let it go for $1500 in that condition.
