3" Body Lift

I want to get this on my truck, was wondering what to expect for cost. Whether I do it myself or have someone do it for me thanks.

Cost for the bodylift is about 225-250.  Install will probably run you about 300-500 if I had to guess.  With some help you can do it yourself in a day.

Mine only cost 50 bucks for the install (took my friends out to dinner for helping)

My B/L was $215 from JC Whitney.  It was regularly $224, but  I used a 15% off any order over $200 coupon that was on the cover of the magazine.  After adding S&H, it was $215.  Me, Elwood, and a couple biddies put it on.  That cost me some pizza and beer.  :nono:

Mine was $280 with tax and all.  I think I could have saved about $20 to $30 if I wanted to wait and have it shipped but I'm an impulse buyer.  Did it myself with the help of one friend.

When did you order the BL form jcwhitney?   I have seen others post they got it from there, but on the website and in the magazine there is no referance to that part at all??

I ordered it about this time last year, because I put it on in April.

The latest catalog I have has it in there for $229.95.  It only shows 99-00 Silverado's.  I wouldn't think there were any differences in the 01-02's.  The JC Whitney catalog P/N is 07UB2863B.

Hope this helps.

I ordered mine from JC Whitney as well.  I think I had a 50 dollar off coupon for an order over 250, so I bought a tow strap to.  So, the total was like 210 or so w/ shipping.

Tom, how did they ship yours, mine came US Mail.  You should've heard the mail man swear when he was lugging that 40 pound box to the front door :nono:

Mine ran a little over $300 with the gap guards. Self installed of course. Go with the Performance Accessories kit. Great directions and everything you need. (JC Whitney may have P/A kit, I don't know)
