Factory wheel center-caps --

Hey all,

 

I have a pewter-metallic '02 Z71 Tahoe, and I'm thinking of swapping out the grille's large gold emblem to a billet one.  Problem is there's still gold on the emblems on the wheels' center caps...

 

Soooo... If I want to go with an all-silver (and no more gold) theme, then I ought to swap out the center caps for ones that don't have gold emblems on them, huh?

 

Does Chevy make such a thing?  Do them make ones that will pop into my wheels with different color (or black, or NO) Chevy symbols in the center?  

 

Also, I'm assuming that these pop in and out.  Do they??

Make your own 'covers' for the gold bow ties on the center caps.  You could use black electrical tape to make black bow toes to go over top of the gold ones.  Got another color you like?  Use any good quality vinyl tape and they'll last quite awhile.  Make a bunch and change the color to suit your mood!

No, they don't just pop out.  You have to loosen the fake plastic lug nuts, then the center insert just falls out.
