Heated seats not working

I have a 2007 2500HD. When you push the button the lights come on and go back off. Then sometimes they will stay on a few seconds then go out. Thanks

Did you check the fuse? Also check and make sure that the seat harness is not loose or anything

  I used to keep it clean, but now I just don’t care and yes, it’s very dusty. Maybe I’ll get a wild hair and clean it one of these days.

  I think the key point to longevity that may be being missed is the way the vehicle is being used. Long operating times with limited cold starts is one. Sustained speeds is another. Vehicles get better fuel mileage on highways for that reason.
