2007-13 Cashmere Heated Steering Wheel

New Cashmere leather, titanium spokes, cruise and radio/phone buttons, heated steering wheel. I bought this for my 2011 Silverado. It was not as dark a shade of leather as I had hoped for. So if you have a cashmere interior, this is the wheel. I thought I would like it with my ebony interior, but did not.I will also include the pigtail for power/ground connector of the dash side of the SIR coil.

I am not familiar with the heated wheel feature, but I am intrigued. Would this be a plug/play for my 2011 Silverado? How does the heat feature activate? Thanks.

You need three things for plug and play.1 Heated steering wheel, 2 correct SIR coil (yours will have to be changed), 3 connector for dash side of SIR coil to hook up ground and power. No programing required.

 

If your Silverado is a 1500 it will have a two connector air bag for the steering wheel and use SIR coil 25966964.

To turn on the heat there is a button on the left side. The cruise shut off button is now split and the top half is for heat. The icon is a steering wheel with three wavy lines. The bottom half is still cruise shut off. The heat button has an ON indicator just like the cruise ON button.

Now I will include a "plug & play" harness INSTEAD of a pigtail. So all you will need is the correct clock spring to do the install.

 

 

Connects to the dash side of the clock spring and the I/P Junction Block

 

 

New, I did not like the color, I expected/hoped for a darker brown.

 

I am betting you could dye it!
