2005 6.0 P/S issues

3500 6.0 lost fluid out of reservoir, cleaned filled and found no leak, has hydro boost and only thing I can think of is high pressure build up like a relief valve stuck or something in hydro boost, I have no clue how to dignoise.

If the level went down all of a sudden, you should be able to see the oil stain around the area it leaked from. How many miles had you driven between the last time you checked the level and the time it was empty? Is it possible that it has never been checked and the level has gone down over the life of the truck?

 

Even if a relief valve stuck, the fluid would be vented back into reservoir. Having a relief valve dump excess pressure into atmosphere around a hot engine would be asking for a lawsuit.

I got a call that they have no brakes and the brake pedal went to the floor, I drove to the truck and oil was al over the drivers side compartment and on the pavement, The reservoir was empty and driver said it started a growling noise, so the fluid dumped all of a sudden, clened with starting fluided and filled reservoir, no leak, I thought oil line and nothing, never seen any thing like this before.
