bhrc4556 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 My front differential noise makes a low clunking noise, even when I'm not in 4WD. I tried replacing the actuator yesterday, but it still does it when it was on the lift and manual turned the wheel. It's coming from near the actuator. I turned the actuator about one full turn out and it stopped doing it. Any ideas? The transfer case switch seems to be working fine. I took the actuator out, hooked it up, it expanded/retracted as I put the transfer case in/out of 4wd. It's a manual transfer case by the way. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm
