This whole boycotting thing is pointless.  Honestly, what will it acomplish?  Nothing.  The companies are not the ones involved in this war, so lets not drag them into it.

I see your point, but would like to explain why I think it does accomplish something.

1.)  France is vindictively attacking the support base, credibility, and morality of the US.

2.)  They are doing so for none other than monetary concerns.  (oil company investments, assets, etc. in Iraq)

3.)  This aversion to US policy and politicians is not only proposed by the government, but endorsed by the population.

4.)  France has what it has today because of US support, intervention, and advocacy.

5.)  If a french company sees it's sales to US outlets drop 50%, I would wager that their "policy" would change.

I would use this same disposition and apply it to the french.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." --Samuel Adams, speech at the Philadelphia State House, August 1, 1776

The weird on on the list  to me is Wild Turkey. This is bourbon, only made in one place in the entire world. Kentucky. Never did like Wild Turkey, stick with the basic Beam, Makers and Woodford Reserve for fancy meets.
