01 Suburban 2500, what is this?

Hello everyone. I just bought a new to me 2001 Suburban 2500 2WD LQ4 with an OEM tow package. I am trying to learn my way around this vehicle but am pretty handy. I bought it to tow an 8.5ftX18ft enclosed car hauler. I have built a Factory Five Cobra and raced it, and now I have a Factory Five 818R and race it as well. So this vehicle is not daily, but for race weekends. Despite being a 3/4 ton, it drives well and is pretty comfortable. I feel I made a better decision on the burb than a quad cab truck. This thing has a ton of interior room with the third seat out.

I was checking out the connector box to make sure all I needed was a harness for the brake controller and found this:

Anyone know what the orange wires are? The don't seem to be standard or OEM.

I also found this:

Pretty sure that switch is not OEM? I could not figure out what it could possibly do. Also the box that the red, green, and red/blk wire plugs into in the picture does not look stock or OEM either.

I also found this:

This wire is connect to a white wire in the bundle on the drivers side towards the radiator and kind of adjacent to the same plane as the belts. This wire goes through a non factory hole in the firewall and into a bundle of wires near the above white box where the brake controller would plug in.

OK! Accidentally figured out the combo to start the burb! I also cleaned up the ground wire from the engine to the firewall and all of a sudden the power mirrors started working. Not sure about that but will have to drive the thing and see if the ABS and brake light stay off.

Thanks for the tips. Successful day..

Dang it... Beat me to it!

I was going to guess that it was an emergency ejector seat button or a machine gun trigger.
