dog hair and mud

What's with these trucks? They get more expensive and everything inside is cheaper? I don't like the new seats for comfort but they are passable. Yesterday, I did my spring clean and spent 2 hours trying to suck up dog hair from the seats===brutal! Granted, I used to have seat covers so things were easier, but I still swear these seats are even worse! They just won't let go of the hair. And the mud splatters all over the plastic/vinyl inside? I cleaned them with water with a dab of soap, then did the Meguires thing today . .. you can still see marks! Not as bad, but not perfect. Anyone else have issues with the 2015 interiors? Btw, dog hair is the whole reason I chose a "grey" interior as the black is just brutal, but this "grey" is really, mostly black, except for the seats. . ..

As bad as the dog hair issue is in the 2015's it was much worse in the 2008 models. I have a had black cloth in a 2008, 2010 & 2015. Trust me the 2008 was really bad. I had a 2012 with titanium leather. The titanium leather equiped truck was by far the best for not hanging on to the dog hair in the carpet.

Actually for me, the seats in my 2014 are much easier to clean than my 2013. The 2013 Silverado seats were like Velcro for every little piece of lint or hair, I couldn't even vacuum them clean. My 2014 seats are a breeze to clean, but I don't have a dog. I have the black cloth.

I traded in my 11 for a 15. One of the reasons was to trade up from cloth to leather seats. The OP has it correct, the hair seems like it was attracted to the cloth. It would drive me nuts. When I looked close the dog hair was woven into the cloth. Very happy I upgraded to leather. In general its easier to keep clean. BTW, very happy with the comfort and support of front bucket seats
