Hello

I just purchased a 07 Sierra 2500LBZ with 147K. It was listed as running and driving and got involved in accident. Transporter told me he couldn't get it started when he picked it up. When he delivered it I tried to start it and on the 3rd try it started. The truck has been sitting for weeks (waiting on title) and once running the CEL showed codes P0675 cyl 5 glow plug, P0673 cyl 3 glow plug and P0087 fuel rail low pressure. I cleared the codes and drove it around town for 15 minutes and only code P0087 came back on. It drove around fine and restarted fine but entering the highway pushing it hard seom black smoke came out tail pipe. Where should I start with this to address issues?

Thanks

Dealer,,unless you have a scanner and service information and diesel experience

First step I'd be taking is to scan the pickup. You need to see what rail pressure is at, then compare it to the spec. Spec will be somewhere in the 30,000 PSI vicinity.
