Electrical issues

Hey guys, I have a 2014 silverado with the 5.3 in her, and I've been experiencing some electrical problems. When I'm driving down the interstate with the cruise on, radio, ect and I hit my turn signal all of my lights (headlight, dashlights) blink and most of the time it knocks the cruise control off. Every once in a while it when this happens all of the electronics will completely restart and I'll get a stabiltrak message and a steering assist message on my dashboard. I'm disappointed I'm having issues with a truck this new. I figured I'd ask you guys on here before I take it to a dealer and they start throwing my money on it. Thanks in advance!

The battery cables were the first thing I thought of also, I checked them again tonight and they seem to be plenty tight. One thing I have not done is have the battery tested though.

I do quite a bit of highway driving so unfortunately I'm over the 36k bumper to bumper warranty. Do you think this would fall under the powertrain warranty?

Hi Hero_Arcade,

I'm sorry your Silverado is displaying electrical concerns. I can understand how this can be both concerning and frustrating. Have you had the opportunity to get the battery tested? If so, what were the results? Please let us know if we can do anything to further assist you.

I had the same issue. My truck was at the dealership for 3 weeks nothing was done because they couldn't duplicate the problem. They handed me my keys back and pretty much told me good luck. Was your steering wheel locking up and A/C turning on full blast when you experienced the issues? Definitely a driving and safety issue. It looks like a fatality must occur before anything is done.
