2007 Silverado Intermittent Dome/Lock/Radio issue

Hi all,

 

I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab that has started exhibiting some strange behavior recently and I'm a bit frustrated. This started about a year ago and is starting to occur more frequently. I'll list the symptoms in the order they began appearing.

 

1. Dome lights will stay on after the door is closed and remain on. Usually they will turn off once I park and lock the truck.

2. Doors will not automatically lock once truck is taken out of park.

3. Radio will turn off immediately when the key is turned off. Normal behavior is to stay on until door is opened.

4. Dome lights has twice come on when the truck has been parked/locked for an hour.

5. Dome lights have come on twice after driving for about 30 minutes and stayed on for the duration of the drive.

 

This does not happen all of the time, but has occurred several times over the past 1-2 months. The dome light override switch on the dash does not help. The only way to get the lights turned off is to a) pull the fuse which disables the right front turn signal, or b)pull the bulbs. I can deal with the door locks and the radio, but driving at night with the lights on is a huge annoyance.
