after market audio sugestions - amp placement

for 2015 silverado Double Cab LT with bench seat.

 

Where is the recommended place to install after market amplifier?

 

Just wanted to see what others are doing I did not go with Bose audio system and will be looking to upgrade my stereo,

 

I also read that replacing the door speakers without installing after market amp would be useless.

I put mine behind the back seat on the drivers side. Only had to remove the back seat once (to install it), and have had no problems.
