Ok fellas take me to school on tires

I have a stock 2014 lt black double cab with stock 275/55/20 continental eco plus crappy tires.... I'm going to go with the rc 2.5 lift I'm really liking the bf Goodrich ko2's and the nitro Tera grappler question is will 285/60/20 tires rub? Is there that much difference in the 275 compared to the 285??? I know nothing about tires to be honest also which width do I need if I want to have a little tire sticking out from the fenders?

There is about 10 mm difference between the 275 and 285. Call it 3/8 inch.

The width of the tire will be 10mm more and the height (aspect ratio) about 20mm more.

Doesn't sound much but when you put the tires side by side it's quite a difference.
