New rescue for my district is currently in construction .

Rescue 15 will be going to station 15 for yakima county fire protection district 5 in central washington .

This unit is going to be similar to all of the others which are 16ft except for R-6 which is a crew cab so it is only 14 ft due to the extra length of the crew cab

This will be our 6th rescue unit we have ordered from them in the past few years .

The first 3 were made on Freightliner chassis with 2 being 2 door models and one being a crew cab model .

The last two that have been made by them (R-9 and R-11 are identical except for a couple of lighting changes to R-11)

Some nice rigs, our FD replaced an old burb with an Excursion that the assistant chief and his driver take on runs.  I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that old burb for a cruiser, but no such luck, it got passed down the line to some other FD use.
