Rotated my BFGs...

I rotated my tires and changed my rear brake pads this weekend.  When I got everything back together and took the truck out for a ride, I noticed that the tires seem louder than they did before.  Maybe it's just the fact that this is the first weekend since last fall that I've been able to drive with the windows down, but this morning on the way to work they were up and the tire noise was louder than I remember it.

Anyone else have a similar experience?  Maybe an alignment or rebalance is in order?  The tires have been on for about a year (~12k miles) and the front end was aligned at the same time.

oh yea also how many miles did you have?  Were the rear pads bad?

I had mine changed (rear) under warranty at 17K miles

Ryan,

The rear pads were down to the backing on one side with 47k miles on the truck.  The front pads must have been replaced before I bought it because they still look good.

It doesn't surprise me that they are noisy...  12K is alot of miles in between rotations.

Dbl check your air pressures and maybe they will wear back in (I doubt it though)
