Waylon Jennings died. I'm not sure of the details, I just heard the end of it on CNN. The music world will miss him tremendously.

Thats terrible!

I just watched a special on him the other day and it was saying how good he was doin' with his radio show in Nashville and everything. Then I heard that they had to amputate his left because of his diabetes. Guess he went downhill fast?

I know I'll miss him.

I just glimpsed it in the paper today. What did he get amputated? Kidney? ???

His left leg came off last December.

Knew that last night, found it out on yahoo news. Talk about a hard living son of a gunn, that was him.

I know this may sound bad but it's not

I have diabetes and you know your own body

he knew he had diabetes yet he drank himself to death all his life, alcohol and biabetes don't miss AT ALL.

I have diabetes too. You just can't do the stuff he did and expect much long term living. The deal with diabetes is that its so EVERY DARN DAY. EVERY MEAL. EVERY SNACK. ITs constant and never quits! Gets old after a while!
