Help with tire size.

I searched for quite a while for max tire size on a stock 2015 crew silverado lt with the stock 17 inch wheels. What is max at tire size that will fit with no lift in front or back. Also I've been looking at treadwright for a descent tire for a 17 inch at snow type tire. Don't want excessive road noise but still would like a nice looking tire. Thanks in advance for any help.

Just do a search on here for max size tire with no lift. It does not matter what wheel diameter you got, just take what somebody says for their wheel size and figure out what size that equals by using a tire size calculator and convert that to a 17 inch rim.

I just seen this one from "chevy15". 315's. I think he said 285's will fit fine and possibly 295's. Looks good huh?

Deff does. Thanks. Think I'm gonna try 285/70/17. Now to try and find a deal on that size. I like the bridgestone ko2. Also saw some duratracs on a friend's truck and he has no complaints. Any other similar tire that has low road noise but also would not be useless in heavy snow.

I have the 14 Z71 1500. Stock tires are 275/55 R20. I want just a slightly larger diameter tire for the stock wheels but my tire guy insists on a leveling kit for the front to avoid tire rub on the inner fender when turning. I see plenty of clearance, but I haven't wrenched on cars in 10 years. What would be a good replacement size for stock 20" wheels without needing a leveling kit. This is truck goes off road from time to time but mostly a daily driver and getting ready to prep it from a Florida truck to a deep snow Ohio truck
