04 Sierra wheels

I have searched around but can't seem to find the right answer to my question. I'm looking at getting 16x8 wheels with 4in backspace and -12 offset. My question is how far will they stick out. I don't haves stock flares.

My other question is with no lift and just cranking the torsion bars some can I fit 285/75/16s or maybe even 305/70/16? which is what I really want because I like the wider look.

they should be just about even with the body, maybe stick out just a little more then stock. and yes you can fit 285's and probably 305's

I am also having trouble finding pics of where to trim the valance or the inner fender. I found some old post but the pics were gone.

305/70 might be a bit much . Being that your going with the spacers , might hit the bumper. You might be ok but try to get tire shop to assure you'll be fine just in case they don't fit they can set you up with the right size.

FYI

Put tires on before trimming the valance. Keep in mind the flex and bounce of the truck when checking for fitment. Hope this makes sense.
