Replacing TPS

Hey guys I have a 2009, and have symptoms of a bad tps. Delayed throttle response, sluggish to downshift and occasionally a stabilatrak alarm. So I'd like to replace it before it goes. My question is, is it as simple as just replacing the old with the new and no reflash needed? And I see new throttle body assemblies on fleabay for around 100 bucks which appears to come with the TPS. Would that be the route to go?

Gm has a 10 year/120,000 mile extended warranty on certain 2008 and 2009 year and models for TPS replacement. I would contact my GM dealer and see if yours is covered first.
