iPhone interrupting radio on Intellilink

I like to use my iPhone for navigation, but I am finding that my phone is cutting off the radio and switching the car to Media whenever my phone issues audio navigation commands. Is there a way to to disable the USB aspect of playing sound and just leaving it to bluetooth? That is another issue altogether - whenever I have bluetooth on, and have the phone plugged in, it is a mess when I try to play Spotify.

I wish it was easier to determine how the audio is handled on your phone... I just want to be able to listen to there radio and have the iPhone be able to play sound intermittently without me having to switch back to radio. Does anyone have any experience or advice for any of this?
Thank you

There are increasing reports that when your phone couples to the Intellilink system, it places it in blue tooth mode. When you hang up, it stays in blue tooth mode. Dealer says they are waiting for an update from GM. It also annoys me the SMS Text function worked exactly once ... in the dealer's lot. Never worked since then. GM blames Apple. Spoke to a person familiar with that project at Apple ... says GM was told to do x,y and z, and they never have (also the reason behind the '15's not having Apple Play).

Every time I make or receive a call, I have to reset back to the radio.

The Intellilink stays in Bluetooth mode.

I guess it's not that Intelligent

A delayed response, so perhaps the latest iOS update fixed this for you, but if not, if you turn off Siri the phone will stop taking over intellilink everytime it does something. You will loose some functionality but at least you can keep the radio on after a phone call ends
