Wheel/Tire size

I recently bought an 2014 Chevy Silverado. I'm new to this forum and I am looking for some input. I bought a rough country 2in leveling kit because I'm looking into purchasing rims and tires for my truck. My question is how big of Rims/tires I can go without them rubbing. I know I want 18's but I'm not sure whether to go with a 18x9 or 18x10 and I'm not sure what offset to go with. Any help would certainly be appreciated!

Thanks

First of all congrats on the new purchase!

I also have a levelling kit in my truck and I've played around with different tire sizes so here's my experience:

I put 285/65/17 Goodyear Duratracs on my stock rims and they rubbed. I also have Weathertech mud flaps they REALLY rubbed against those.

Right now I'm running 285/55/20 Toyo Open Country on a 20x9 Mickey Thompson Side Biter 2 and they also rub. I took the mud flaps off for these rims and they still rub. With a little bit of trimming you should be ok.

Next summer I will be putting some new rubbers on and I'll be going with the stock size of 275/55/20 to eliminate the rubbing.

Having said all this... I have a 2012, the 2014 wheel wells might be different.

I bought them second hand but after looking at the Mickey Thompson Website 20" Side Biters only come with 0 Offset

I think I'm gonna play it safe and order 18x9 and just run my 265/65/18 tires until I determine how big of a tire I can go. Cause I really don't wanna pay 1200 for tires that won't clear

I have 275/70r18 bfg ko2 on my stock rims with a rc 2 inch level and no rubbing I'm looking at 18x9 fuel hostage my tire guy told me there would be no rubbing either I hope this helps a little
