yup, It must be the light

In the middle of a dark night in the back woods of South Carolina a redneck's wife went into labor. As no midwife was available the local country doctor was called to assist in the delivery. Since there was no electricity, the doctor handed the father-to-be a lantern.

"Here, you hold this lantern up high so I can see what I'm doing."

The mother moaned and pushed and soon pretty soon with the old doctors help a baby boy was brought into the world.

"Whoa there," said the doctor, "don't be in a rush to put that lantern down...I think there be yet another one to come."

Sure enough, a few minutes went by, the mother groaned and pushed some more and the old doc delivered a baby girl.

"Noooo, noo, don't be in a hurry to be putting that lantern down jess yet ... seems like there's yet another one pokin' it's head outa there," cried the doctor.

The Redneck, totally bewildered at this turn of events, stood there a scratchin' his head, then asked the doc, "Do you think it's the light that's attractin' em?"
